Providing training that supports goals and promotes both career and academic excellence, to enable students to remain competitive in the national workforce.
S.K.I.L.S.
Our shared standards shape how we teach, learn and serve our community.
We place practical, industry-relevant skill at the centre of everything we teach.
We build the theoretical foundation that turns skilled hands into thinking professionals.
We uphold honesty, discipline and professionalism in all we do.
We nurture confident young people ready to lead in their trades and communities.
We prepare every learner for employment and enterprise: graduates who can stand on their own.
Our story
The Youth Leadership and Skills Training Institute was established through a collaboration between World Vision Ghana, the Ahanta West District Assembly and the Abura Community.
A Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Ghana transferred management to the National Youth Council, now known as the Youth Employment Agency.
